You may have recently heard that a Friends “reunion” was on the horizon. But what you maybe didn’t know was that, boy, do these people really love James Burrows! Five out of the six main cast members reunited earlier this month to honor the veteran TV director (who recently directed his 1,000th episode) to reminisce about the industry, their beloved sitcom, and, of course, all things Burrows. As it turns out, Lisa Kudrow had to audition way more for her role than anyone else (awkward), and Courteney Cox’s Monica was framed after Mary from The Mary Tyler Moore Show.
