The murder house is actually known as the Alfred Rosenheim Mansion. It was built in 1908, making it pretty old by Los Angeles standards, and has been used as a set for Alfred Hitchcock Presents, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Dexter, Dragnet, The Twilight Zone, and The X-Files. The going rate is a mere $1,450 a night.
