Casey Wilson just landed a new starring TV role. According to Entertainment Weekly, the SNL and Happy Endings alum has signed on to star in Hail Mary, the single-cam comedy pilot the network ordered back in January, which centers on “a young small town mayor named Mary Wolf who has dysfunctional siblings, a dying father, disgruntled citizens, a nearly bankrupt town and the mafia breathing down her neck. Only a miracle can help her — so she fakes one.” The McCarthys’ Brian Gallivan will write and co-executive produce the project, which is an adaptation of the Austrian series Braunschlag.
