This Hamilton Parody Tells the Story of William Henry Harrison, Another American Historical Figure With a Seven-Syllable Name

If your obsession with Hamilton has made you want to learn more about American history in musical form, look no further than “Harrison,” a Hamilton parody about the ninth president of the United States, William Henry Harrison. The song, written by actor Jason Kravits, tells the story of how Harrison died on his 32nd day in office, from a case of pneumonia that he reportedly caught from refusing to bundle up at his inauguration. Unlike Hamilton, Harrison met his downfall when he did say no to this, “this” being putting on his hat and coat.
