Naomi Watts is in talks to play the crazy mom in the upcoming film adaptation of The Glass Castle, THR reports. The Glass Castle, a memoir by Jeannette Walls, follows young Jeannette as she is raised by parents that are at best, quirky, and, at worst, dysfunctional and insane. Brie Larson is to star as Jeannette Walls and Woody Harrelson will play her father; Destin Daniel Cretton (Short Term 12) will direct. You can just imagine Naomi Watts and Woody Harrelson being the worst parents and Brie Larson struggling to survive her childhood despite their batshit-crazy shenanigans. Definitely see this movie with your family so you can appreciate how comparatively sane they are.
