Patton Oswalt might be headed to Fox in a starring sitcom role. According to Entertainment Weekly, Oswalt has signed on to star in an untitled comedy pilot at the network by Red Oaks’ Laura Steinel as Sam, “a new CEO who lives life at a higher octave than everyone else. Sam is an ‘ideas’ guy; however, none of his ideas are suitable for this small town New Jersey plastics plant.” Oswalt joins previously announced star Judy Greer as Jane, “who is stuck between managing her human resources department as well as the new CEO, who harbors big ambitions for the New Jersey plastics plant.” Former League showrunner Jeff Schaffer will direct.
