Doctors, lawyers, politicians, parks-and-recreation office workers — we've seen compelling TV about nearly all of the world's professions, but not about criminal manicurists. TNT is here to fix this. The network has ordered a pilot for Claws, written by Eliot Laurence (Welcome to Me) and produced by Rashida Jones, which follows five Florida manicurists' rise in the world of organized crime. Think Weeds with nail polish, or Breaking Bad with nail polish, or even The Sopranos with nail polish — this will be an hour-long dramedy, so you'll have time to sort through all the comparisons.
