Taron Egerton is supposedly one of four hunks currently screen-testing for the role of a young Han Solo in Disney’s Star Wars spinoff, but Egerton himself seems to be unaware that he’s in the running. On the Jonathan Ross Show, Egerton merely said, “It’s very, very flattering. I’ve no idea if there’s any truth in it but I mean, Lucasfilm, Disney, if there is then you know where I am.” Meanwhile, previous Han Solo contender Miles Teller has admitted to auditioning for the part. So either Disney is shuffling the real new Han Solo in with a deck of expendable dudes, or Taron Egerton has signed a very, very tight NDA. Since that all gets a bit confusing, take your mind of things with a later clip of Egerton putting in a solid bid for Gaston.
