Hey, no pressure, just putting it out there, but Tom Hiddleston would definitely not say no if you asked him to play James Bond. In an interview with the Sunday Times, Hiddleston says he’s a “huge fan” of the franchise. Not that that means you need to choose him or anything, but just saying, if you did, it would be cool. Thanks to his role in the TV adaptation of John le Carré’s The Night Manager, Hiddleston has joined Idris Elba and Tom Hardy on the shortlist of front-runners for the next James Bond, should Daniel Craig indeed decide to retire from the part. “I simply love the theme tune, the tropes, and the mythology,” Hiddleston emphasized, if you think that kind of thing is important. “If it ever came knocking, it would be an extraordinary opportunity … I would not take it lightly.” But if not, hey, that’s alright, it’s up to you.
