Based on a Rolling Stone article (and later book) about two Miami beach bros who managed to lowball their way into a multimillion-dollar military contract, War Dogs promises all the criticism of America’s Bush-era foreign policy you’ve come to expect from a Jonah Hill bromance. Miles Teller co-stars as the version of himself in that Esquire profile, while Bradley Cooper is some sort of shady gambler. The Hangover’s Todd Phillips directed the film, which premieres August 19 and that will remind America what happens in Iraq can be just as misguided as what happens in Vegas.
