In a new promo for Inside Amy Schumer, the outside of Amy Schumer performs her Betsy Ross hip-hop opera for a deeply disturbed Lin-Manuel Miranda. Obviously it’s a joke, and Miranda is a wonderful sport about riffing on his life’s work, but there is something truly cringe-inducing about performing a Hamilton parody … for the Hamilton creator. And the part about throwing away her mop? Well, just wait for it.
