Watch a Trailer for Chris Brown’s Welcome to My Life Documentary, a Look at the Singer’s Turbulent Road to Fame and Infamy

A Chris Brown doc arrives later this year, and its newly released trailer (above) teases the range of very public highs and lows viewers will see with a tinge of optimism. The film, titled Welcome to My Life and directed by Andrew Sandler, chronicles the singer's rapid ascent as "America's sweetheart," to his Rihanna-related downfall as "public enemy number one." Yet to receive a hard release date, it boasts interviews with the likes of J.Lo, DJ Khaled, Jamie Foxx, and Usher to help explain the subject's career trajectory. "But this is the first time I get to say anything," Brown adds. "I felt like a fuckin' monster ... if there was ever a doubt in your mind that Chris Brown was done, he was finished, I wouldn't bet on it."
