Jonathan Groff Coronated Jimmy Fallon as the Latest (Sort Of) Hamilton King

Answering the question, "Is that a garter in your pocket, or are you really that happy to see Jimmy Fallon?," Jonathan Groff crowned Fallon on The Tonight Show yesterday. Groff is Hamilton's reigning King George (though not for much longer), while Fallon is singing the King's "You'll Be Back" on The Hamilton Mixtape, making Fallon a sort of quasi-member of the heretofore called King Ring. The indefatigably ebullient Groff thus saw fit to coronate Fallon honorarily, like when colleges give celebrities fake degrees, passing the buck along through the sensual application of a spangly garter. Oh, and if you were worried about Fallon's balance, he does not fall off from high atop his desk.
