Melissa McCarthy and Ben Falcone’s First Sketch Sounds Great, Which Just Shows How Everyone’s Taste Is Wrong

Today is the day Seger has made. Let us rejoice and be glad. Fantasy comedy couple Melissa McCarthy and Ben Falcone looked back on their first Groundlings sketch on Late Night last night, a lovely little number about a Scottish couple celebrating a sort of Bob Seger Christmas. Sadly, it was never performed because comedy is subjective and everyone else was wrong. Look, if Mike Myers’s Fat Bastard can be a wildly successful pop-culture touchstone, Scottish All Seger Eve could have been, too. Fat Bastard’s one character trait was that he wanted to eat a human baby, and we all ate it up with a spoon! Expand your comedic horizons, people.
