Oh, man, think science is for squares? Not after this week, daddy-o, because starting tonight you’ll be seeing science through the eyes of America’s exhausted cool dad, President Barack Obama. Who’s square now, huh? According to Deadline, President Obama will host the Science Channel’s DNews segment — which focuses on “public health, space, and technology”— each night this week at 9 p.m. Obama’s appearance coincides with Wednesday’s White House Science Fair and this weekend’s USA Science & Engineering Festival in Washington, D.C. Also each night this week? Neil deGrasse Tyson, watching President Obama from behind a heavy velvet curtain, one eye barely illuminated as he watches Obama’s easy swagger; vest soaking wet; trembling with rage and trepidation.
