Following the completion of Prince's autopsy, the musician's remains were cremated at an undisclosed time upon release to his family. According to a statement from his publicist, earlier today Prince was "celebrated by a small group of his most beloved: family, friends and his musicians, in a private, beautiful ceremony to say a loving goodbye" at his Paisley Park estate. "The cause of death remains unknown and it will be at least four weeks before we receive the results of the autopsy," the statement continued. "An announcement will be made at a future date for a musical celebration." The final resting place of his remains will be kept private.

Prince was found dead earlier this week in his Paisley Park estate in Minnesota. The music legend was 57.
