Andrew Dice Clay may not have made his name with socially conscious stand-up, but last night the comedian was salve to a battle-battered nation, using humor to mend a people divided over Batman v Superman. Appearing on The Tonight Show, Clay came out as a Superman bro. His arguments were pretty much the same as children who hold the debate on a playground: Batman is a man with neat toys, while Superman is not so much a man as an incredibly powerful alien creature. Dice also joked about the possibility of a Trump-Clay presidential ticket, while everyone in the audience said “ha ha ha” through frozen mask faces, strapped in an untethered reality of endless possibilities.
