Does Jon Hamm ever say no to things? Because here he is, midway through the Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie trailer, cheesing like this is the first time he’s ever made a cameo in a mid-budget comedy. That comedy is the revival of the long-running BBC series of the same name, which reunites Patsy Stone (Joanna Lumley) and Edina Monsoon (Jennifer Saunders). The two cavort through the London fashion scene per usual, until they accidentally kill Kate Moss and escape to the French Riveria. Original cast members Julia Sawalha, Jane Horrocks, and June Whitfield all return, while the trailer offers up a judicious dusting of cameos from fabulous fashion people of the likes of Stella McCartney. Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie premieres in the U.S. on July 22.
