CBS knows that you are down to watch things about murder on your TV screen, and so it is bringing you a very murder-y summer mini-series about secrets, lies, family, Boston, betrayal, bells, and also murder. The show, American Gothic, begins its 13-episode run on July 22. It stars Virginia Madsen, Anthony Starr, and Juliet Rylance as the members of a family as WASPy as it is evil. They all live in the mansion from the board game Clue, which would explain all the murder.
