The pitch: Ocean's Eleven, but with the added flavor of NASCAR. The clear choice: Adam Driver, who is as close as you can get to Matt Damon circa Ocean's Eleven, but with added flavor of those Girls sex scenes. Lo and behold, Driver has been cast in Steven Soderbergh's upcoming heist movie, Logan Lucky. Seth MacFarlane, no stranger to playing smarmy characters, is also in talks for a role. The film, which brings Soderbergh out of retirement for the umpteenth time, follows two brothers who plan a heist during a NASCAR race. Channing Tatum and Riley Keough of The Girlfriend Experience (which is executive produced by Soderbergh and based on one of his films) are also in the cast. Logan Lucky's being sold at Cannes; someone please buy it so we can all watch Adam Driver deliver long, poetic monologues about race cars.
