You won’t have to wait too long for Kevin James, the king of the most linguistically diverse area in New York City, to return to television. CBS has officially picked up James’s multi-camera sitcom, Kevin Can Wait, for the fall schedule. The show will star James as a newly retired police officer trying to spend more quality time with his younger, much-more-beautiful TV wife, played by Erinn Hayes, and their three kids. But wait for it! He discovers life at home can be harder than the streets. The rest of the cast includes Mary-Charles Jones, James Digiacomo, Ryan Cartwright, Leonard Earl Howze, Lenny Venito, and Gary Valentine. Incidentally, Kevin Can Wait was one of the many titles we suggested for Kevin Hart’s memoir. Kevin Forbid, however, is still up for grabs.
