Watch Chance the Rapper Debut His Spiritual New Song, ‘Blessings,’ on Jimmy Fallon’s Tonight Show

Chance the Rapper used his Thursday Tonight Show appearance to showcase material from his next mixtape, debuting “Blessings,” a gospel-tinged single with contributions from Byron Cage, Jamila Woods, Donnie Trumpet, and a ten-piece choir. “I don’t make songs for free, I make them for freedom / Don’t believe in kings, believe in the Kingdom,” Chance rapped. “When the praises go up, the blessings come down,” the others echoed. As Fallon noted, “Blessings” and Chance 3 arrive May 13.
