The Leftovers Will Leave One Regular Cast Member Behind for Season 3

Relax, Kevin. Photo: HBO

The Leftovers is moving to Australia for its third and final season, and most of the cast is packing their bags for the trip. TV Line reports that the regular cast from first season, including Justin Theroux, Carrie Coon, Amy Brenneman, Christopher Eccleston, Liv Tyler, Margaret Qualley, Chris Zylka, and Janel Moloney would be back. But, hold on! The entire Murphy clan from season two will also be joining them, meaning we’ll get more intense scenes with Regina King, Kevin Carroll, Jovan Adepo, and Jasmin Savoy-Brown. Scott Glenn, who played the father of Theroux’s Kevin Garvey has been bumped up to series regular. Left behind is Ann Dowd, who played the magnificent chain-smoker of Kevin’s nightmares, Patti Levin. (No word on whether she might return again as a guest star to haunt Kevin’s psyche.) Until then, we’ll always have Jeopardy!
