Yitzhak finally gets to take Hedwig’s wig out of the box. Lena Hall will reprise her Tony award-winning portrayal of Yitzhak on the national tour of Hedwig and the Angry Inch alongside Darren Criss, who will put on some makeup to play the trans rock-and-roller. But in an interesting twist, Hall will also play the title role of Hedwig once a week when the tour kicks off in San Francisco before moving to Los Angeles. It’s just as Yitzhak always wanted: to snatch Hedwig’s wig to become the star. It’s a wicked little town.
