Emilia Clarke Adds ‘Pranker of Dothraki’ to Daenerys’s Title in Behind-the-Scenes Video

Don’t fall asleep around Emilia Clarke. While filming her big inferno scene that aired on Sunday’s Game of Thrones, she and her cast had to take breaks in the green room whenever the set got too hot or they’d have to reset the shot. One of the Dothraki khals, played by Joseph Naufahu, quickly learned that if he dozed off during that late-night downtime, he’d wake up with Dothraki words scribbled on his arm or forehead. “A lot of it was, ‘Qoy Qoyi,’ which means ‘blood of my blood,’” he told Vulture.

During one such nap, however, Clarke eschewed ink in favor of confections. “I had my dessert sitting on the table, and she decided to smear the dessert on me,” he said. “She put caramel fudge all over my fingers, all over my costume, and she was about to feed it to me, but I woke up. I woke up with a spoon in my mouth.”

Watch above, as Clarke and company take advantage of a sleeping Naufahu, all while struggling to keep from laughing. As Naufahu added, in hindsight, “Maybe she was delirious from all the propane on set.”
