Leave it to good ol’ Hollyweird to put some things in perspective. For example, you think going to a high-school party and getting puked on is bad? Try someone spewing the bile of a virus that makes people violent and monstrous all over your preferred knitwear. In Viral, a suburban neighborhood is quarantined after a virus called Worm Flu starts infecting people, but teen sisters Emma (Sofia Black-D’Elia) and Stacey (Analeigh Tipton), all juiced up on lawlessness and mayhem, skip out and go to a house party, where Stacey gets infected. Viral is the latest by directing duo Henry Joost and Ariel Schulman, previously behind the Catfish documentary and Paranormal Activity 3 and 4. Joost and Schulman: Not down with viral stuff across the board.
