Anna, get your gun. Anna Gunn has joined NBC's crime-drama series Shades of Blue as a recurring character in the second season. Making her debut in the season premiere, Gunn will play a Machiavellian city councilwoman on the rise, soon to be primed for a run at the mayor's office. Her character is a former protégée of Wozniak (Ray Liotta) who also used to be part of Harlee's (Jennifer Lopez) dirty crew of cops, and she's described as "being a chameleon who rose up the ranks of the NYPD to captain before launching a political career fueled by her charisma." Look out, de Blasio! Lock up Gracie Mansion!
