American Crime Story has started a television true-crime spree. Denise Brown, sister of the late Nicole Brown Simpson, has signed a production deal with NBC News’s Peacock Productions to develop a new true-crime TV program. The series follows Brown and a team of experts as they investigate “all sides of a story in cases where justice has been called into question.” Brown, who testified on behalf of her sister in the O.J. Simpson trial, has worked to raise awareness of domestic violence for much of her career. Meanwhile, CBS is developing an unscripted series centered on the murder of JonBenét Ramsey, while NBC is doing a Law & Order–style take on the Menendez brothers. Additionally, a 30 for 30–style documentary on O.J. Simpson is soon to arrive at ABC and ESPN. Television: Always here to remind you that real people are terrible and you should just stay inside.
