Frank Sinatra’s still got the world on a string, and now he’s finally got the theater wrapped around his finger. The AP reports that a jukebox stage musical about the seminal musician’s life is currently in the works, with the premiere aiming for 2018. Details are still scarce, though it’s confirmed Ol’ Blue Eyes’s family will be working with the Ambassador Theatre Group and movie producer Stewart Till for the project, and it’ll feature a plethora of songs from Sinatra’s decades-spanning catalogue. Additionally, the book writer has yet to be chosen. You’d be a silly so-and-so if you don’t go when it opens.
