While practically nothing has been revealed about the plot of the upcoming Spider-Man: Homecoming, judging from the cast’s growing list of comedic actors — Martin Starr (Silicon Valley), Donald Glover (Community) and now, per Variety, stand-up comedian Hannibal Buress — Marvel is embracing the ridiculousness of a superhero who gets his powers from a radioactive spider. Like other casting news from the film, there’s no word yet on which hero, villain, sidekick, or random side-character Buress will play, but our money’s on him portraying a chill, slow-speaking dude. Now that his Broad City character Lincoln is no longer dating Ilana, maybe he can be Peter Parker’s friendly neighborhood dentist. After all, it’s hard to take down baddies when you have an impacted wisdom tooth.
