John Stamos may have tweeted “a moment of silence for Network Television,” but that doesn’t mean he’s above playing in a cemetery. The actor, whose Grandfathered was axed by Fox after one season, will return to the network as a series regular on Scream Queens’s second season. His role on the anthology horror series, which will take place in a hospital this year, marks Stamos’s third trip to the Ryan Murphyverse, having guested on The New Normal and Glee. Stamos is playing the plausibly named Dr. Brock Holt, the “brilliant but secretive” head of surgery. He joins Scream Queens’ returning crew of Jamie Lee Curtis, Emma Roberts, Lea Michele, Abigail Breslin, Keke Palmer, Glen Powell, and Niecy Nash. Stamos, of course, has already paid a trip to the uncanny valley, so Scream Queens should be a comfy fit.
