Ah, teens — our best and most reliable source, subject, and audience for tearjerker entertainment. Kate Walsh (not a teen) will star in Netflix’s upcoming teen drama, 13 Reasons Why, which is produced by up-and-coming entertainment mogul Selena Gomez (also not a teen, but closer to it). Walsh will play the mother of Hannah (a teen, who will be played by Katherine Langford), who commits suicide and leaves behind a box of cassette tapes that explain her actions. The 13-episode season will also star Dylan Minnette as Clay (another teen). Derek Luke (not a teen) will play Hannah’s guidance counselor, Mr. Porter.
