Late Show Looks Back on the Proud, Extremely Made-up Tradition of New York City Foam Parties

Picture this: The disco music is pumping, the drugs are flowing, and the only way to crank the party up to 11 is to cover everyone’s skin with a thick layer of detergent froth. Paul F. Tompkins stopped by the Late Show for a very special, very fake episode of New York Tales celebrating foam parties, that staple of ’70s hedonism that may or may not have slowly poisoned our most prized celebrities by constantly dousing them with bubbles made out of cleaning fluid. Thank God Mr. T made it out okay.
