Ever since Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice earned critical jeers and a disappointing (though still massive) haul at the box office, there’s been chatter about disarray at Warner Bros. as it tries to get its superhero operations back under control. Things looked dire when director Seth Grahame-Smith and the studio parted ways after months of plans for him to direct 2018’s The Flash. But there’s reason for hope over at Warner: According to Deadline and The Hollywood Reporter, they’ve snagged Rick Famuyiwa to helm the picture. He’s a hot property right now, having directed last year’s festival darling Dope. Here’s hoping that Flash, like Dope, has a role for A$AP Rocky.
