Contemplating the cold, immeasurable beauty of the universe can make a person feel so small and insignificant. Unless you’re Samuel L. Jackson, in which case it just reminds you of all the snakes out there, and whether or not they are loitering someplace you don’t want them to be. Oh sure, the vast majority of snakes are in a completely snake-appropriate locale. Others, well, needless to say their whereabouts leave a lot to be desired. It really makes a man think.
