Jamie Foxx has a new comedy in the works at Showtime. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the network has ordered a half-hour comedy pilot produced by Foxx called White Famous, which follows “a talented, young African-American comedian whose star is rising, forcing him to navigate the treacherous waters of maintaining his credibility as he begins to cross-over toward becoming ‘white famous.’” Foxx will not play the lead role, but he will appear in a recurring role should the project land a series order.
