In today’s Everything Is a Lie news, the Spice Girls are reportedly trying to replace Sporty and Posh Spice on their rumored 20th anniversary tour. According to Life & Style, the group has conspired to go behind Victoria and Mel C’s backs and hold tryouts for stand-ins. “Posh and Sporty can be replaced,” some confused source says, claiming that both are “refusing to participate.” They apparently all saw that coming from Victoria, who recently sent shockwaves through the industry when she revealed her mic was never on during her Posh years. (Which is maybe how her hip-hop album got “lost.”) But they never in a million years expected the Spice Girl who made “I Turn to You” (remember that club banger?) to turn on them. What was that old saying? Oh right: “Make it last forever, friendship never ends.” Hmmph.
