As if the upcoming Gilmore Girls revival didn’t need any additional press, a very grown-up Rory Gilmore (Alexis Bledel) stopped by the White House to chat with Michelle Obama about every possible book under the sun — as well as bestow some blueberry Pop-Tarts from her mother Lorelai. The power duo discussed all things literature pegged to a trip for the First Lady’s “Let Girls Learn” initiative, which, sadly, the Secret Service wouldn’t allow Rory to partake in. (Blasphemy!) Because everyone needs a good book recommendation, even FLOTUS herself.
