Blood Orange’s ‘Augustine’ Video Is Everything Good About New York in the Summer, Plus No Garbage Smell

Following his slightly early surprise album release, Blood Orange's Dev Hynes released the video for his whispery ’80s jam "Augustine," and boy, if you didn’t want to gently writhe on a rooftop at sunset before, you certainly will now. In the video, Hynes and his friends spend most of their days and nights undulating romantically across the city. Blood Orange's New York looks so serene and idyllic, you almost forget that thing where the city super-heats all summer until the smell of trash on the curb is potent enough wake you up out of a dead sleep. If that isn't love, then what the hell is?
