Beyoncé Held a Moment of Silence for Victims of Police Brutality in Front of All Their Names

Hours after publishing a call to action to end police brutality, Beyoncé stopped her concert in Glasgow on her Formation Tour on Thursday night to once again honor those innocent lives lost. After performing "Freedom" a cappella, she and her dancers held a moment of silence in front of a towering screen bearing the names of just some of the hundreds lost to police violence — including Alton Sterling and Philando Castile at the top — with the ominous words "and countless others" at the bottom.
