Anyone who’s ever procrastinated can identify with the desperate process of abandoning other plans at the last minute in order to finish up the thing you really were supposed to have done by now, but Haim’s just taken it to the next level: On Wednesday the band canceled a bunch of European tour dates in order to finish their long-awaited second album. As the sisters explained on Twitter, “We’re at a critical point in finishing up and need to stay close to home.” In two hours, Haim are expected to turn off Wi-Fi on their laptops and put their phones in another room.
