Pretty much every late night show is covering the Republican convention this week, but if you’re looking for a more unique take than the typical human commentators, Robert Smigel and Triumph the Insult Comic Dog are here to fill that void. In his first live Facebook video at the RNC, Triumph wanders around the convention, talks with Trump supporters and a war veteran, reads some tweets from Andy Richter, and harasses CNN anchors Anderson Cooper, Jake Tapper, and Wolf Blitzer. Triumph also looks back on the first time he met Blitzer and how he “complimented him for having the integrity of keeping his porno name.” Thankfully we can look forward to more convention coverage when Triumph’s next Hulu special premieres on Wednesday, August 10th.
