Behold the Lineup of the Very First (and Very Fake) SoCal Comedy Fest

In June, comedian Zach Broussard announced the SoCal Comedy Fest, “the first ever completely fake event that you can publicly say you attended without really having to attend.” The festival “takes place” from this Thursday, September 1st through Saturday the 3rd, and today Broussard updated the SoCal website with the complete schedule, lineup, venues, and ticket info for the event. Over 100 performers (including comics like Marc Maron, A Piece of Pizza, and Mark Borboglia) will perform at a variety of venues during the festival including “Foot of Los Angeles’s Historic Golden Gate Bridge,” Glendale’s Cheesecake Factory, Haley Joel Osment’s backyard, and more.

Head over to the SoCal Comedy Fest website to choose a ticket package, but don’t miss the warning at the bottom: “REMINDER: THIS IS NOT A REAL FESTIVAL. PEOPLE WHO PURCHASE A PASS WILL RECEIVE A TICKET WITH BARCODE VIA EMAIL, BUT THE BARCODE WILL LIKELY JUST BE SOMETHING WE STOLE FROM A BASIC GOOGLE SEARCH.”
