What will people remember from this summer’s Olympic games? Bob Costas, on last night’s Late Night With Seth Meyers, said that he doesn’t think it will be the now-infamous incident in which Ryan Lochte and his teammates drunkenly vandalized a gas-station bathroom and then claimed they were robbed at gunpoint. Costas argued that considering we’ve already forgiven Lochte’s teammates Gunnar Bentz, Jack Conger, and Jimmy Feigen for the incident, and the fact that Lochte has mercifully rinsed the blonde out of his hair, he could be on a path to forgiveness. After all, cleansing oneself of a bad dye-job is the universally known first step in becoming a responsible adult.
