Rappers, they grow up so fast. Shad Moss, who came to fame as the pint-size rapper Lil Bow Wow before abandoning the prefix for his adult hits, announced he will be retiring from music after the release of his forthcoming album, NYLTH. “Over 10 million sold. This is the last one,” the 29-year-old told fans on Twitter, adding, “I always said years ago I’d retire from music before 30. I just cant see myself at 30 years old rapping … Why be greedy? I’m good with everything I accomplished.” While his rap career may be coming to an end, Moss will not be retiring from his onscreen career, which includes the 2002 film Like Mike, as well as stints on Entourage, 106 & Park, and CSI: Cyber.
