Supergirl’s boss, and the series’s MVP, Calista Flockhart will continue to serve her Devil Wears Prada–realness during the show’s second season, but don’t expect her to bark out orders every episode. Entertainment Weekly reports that the actress, who plays media mogul Cat Grant, will return to the show, but only as a guest star and not, as she was in the first season, a series regular. The decision comes as the series changes hands from CBS to CW, and the production moves from L.A. to Vancouver, a city much farther north than where Flockhart normally frolics. Executive producer Andrew Kreisberg said, “We are so excited Calista has agreed to continue on the show when she can.” So, in other words, expect Cat Grant to be “away on media business” during stretches of the next season when it returns October 10.
