In preparation for playing the lollipop-sucking, Jersey-born FBI badass Dominique DiPerro on Mr. Robot, Grace Gummer watched The Real Housewives of New Jersey and practiced shooting at a gun range. Though she ultimately “toned [the Jersey] down a little bit” on the show, she went all out on her stunts — so much so that she ended up in the hospital. Gummer doesn’t say exactly what happened, as not to spoil the end of the season, but she does say that they got the shot.
