Autumn is when the leaves turn, the days grow shorter, and our thoughts turn inevitably to death. Just in time for those dark, dark thoughts, HBO has announced its upcoming comedy lineup. The network will tape a special with Jerrod Carmichael, produced by A24, this fall and premiere it in 2017. It’ll also air a special with Pete Holmes, Pete Holmes: Faces and Sounds, which will debut later this year. T.J. Miller’s T.J. Miller: Meticulously Ridiculous will tape this fall and premiere next year. The network is also prepping an All Def Comedy special hosted by Tony Rock, which will feature a host of rising All Def performers.

In addition to those specials, HBO will debut the first episode Tracey Ullman’s Show on Friday, October 28. That will be a six-episode sketch series starring Ullman, who will impersonate everyone from Judi Dench to Angela Merkel as she takes on “modern life on the British side of the pond.” The series aired on the BBC earlier this year. All in all, HBO’s comedy haul is almost enough make you forget that winter is coming (and that it’s not coming fast enough).
