As it prepares to premiere Hairspray Live!, NBC would like remind everyone that it started this whole live TV-musical revival — excuse you, Fox. It also wants to point out that there’s some top shelf talent involved in its latest outing, including Harvey Fierstein, Andrea Martin, Kristin Chenoweth, Jennifer Hudson, Rosie O’Donnell, Ariana Grande, and Martin Short. Hairspray Live! will air on December 7. Oh, hey, there’ll also be several dump trucks worth of glitter. What more could you want?
