But can Florence also be a character in the game?

Just when it felt like we’d fantasized Florence + the Machine’s harp-y take on the Ben E. King classic “Stand By Me,” it turns out reality is even better. Florence Welch & Co. have shared two brand-new songs created specifically for the soundtrack to the new Final Fantasy XV video game, a pairing that just sounds like fate. Both “Too Much Is Never Enough” and “I Will Be” are big, beautiful (and not at all blue) ballads — exactly what you’d want scoring your dragon battles to victory. In the words of Florence (a secret gamer!): “It’s mythical and beautiful and epic.” Technically, she’s describing the game, but the same could be said of these new songs, too.
